Thank you for supporting Farnham Unplugged at 40!
On behalf of Farnham Family Services, our Board of Directors, and staff… I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who made our 2011 Farnham Unplugged at 40: Rock The Arts Halloween Bash such a huge success this past October 29th!The event, which included an amazing performance by artist David Garibaldi, live music from Vitamin X, Doc Apple and The Love Volcanoes, a silent and live art auction, Halloween costume contest, great food, and much, much more… was truly one to remember.
We would like to thank David Garibaldi and his road manager, Dave Shults, for being a part of our special 40th anniversary fundraiser and the incredible CNY bands that rocked the event… thank you!
We also had over 60 art items of various mediums, donated by local artisans, with a retail value of over $10,000. Thank you to each of the artisans… all of the restaurants and merchants that donated an in-kind gift to the event… and our 50 sponsors, including major sponsors: The Palladium Times, TK99/KRock, Pathfinder Bank, Step One Creative, Alliance Bank, Oswego County Federal Credit Union, Constellation Energy, Best Western Captain’s Quarters, Take 2 Visual Media, The Oswegonian, Lamar Outdoor, OswegoCountyToday.com, Mitchell’s Speedway Press, Lakeside Artisans, Oswego City School District/Oswego County BOCES Arts in Education, and Oswego County Weeklies, who helped us have such a successful event through their continued advocacy and donations to our mission.
Thank you to our emcee Tommy Ciappa for doing such a great job at the event, and to Mary Ciappa and her staff at the American Foundry for the wonderful food and use of their facility for the night!
Also, thank you to Bill Barry and the sound crew for making the bands and David sound amazing and the stage production incredible!
A special thanks to Farnham’s staff, board members, and other volunteers who worked diligently to make the event such a success!
And, finally, THANK YOU to the community members that attended, shared in the evening activities with us, and supported our silent and live art auctions. From the feedback we’ve gathered, everyone walked away in amazement… once again!
Through all of your various levels of support, Farnham Family Services brought in thousands of dollars to help our overall mission, as well as our school based prevention counseling programs, which reach thousands of Oswego County students every year. Our community has never failed to support those in need, and still remains supportive even during these difficult economic times.
We are deeply grateful for your recognition and support of Farnham’s ongoing goal to eliminate alcohol and drug abuse in our community.
Thank you!
